We all have heard the phrase ‘Join My Discord server’ a lot of times in last one year and there are many reasons why Discord is growing, check out 5 reasons why I feel Discord might give tough competition to Meta’s Ecosystem

1. Creator focused

   Discord is build entirely with a focus to help creators connect with their tribe, all features are built witg the same thought in mind, they have even incorporated clubhouse like call feature.

2. Community driven

   Communities are the future and I feel even the present, it’s everywhere in businesses and even individuals are building their own, Discord is built with an approach to help businesses/ individuals have one to one conversations with community . You can create different topics and even if someone joins your tribe an year late he can still access all content

3. It’s a combination of Facebook, Instagram & Whatsapp

   The chats are super secured, you can kick anyone out, you can promote your content, everything and it’s more secure and no ad

4. Bots

   This feature is crazy, you can setup bots with automated commands this feature is from the future. Let’s say someone joins your community, you don’t have to greet everyone personally, setup a bot and you good to go

5. Fresh UI

   I haven’t seen a Cool UI like that of Discord so far, they have got so many features yet it’s easy to adapt

I feel brands/ businesses might pay people to be a Discord Manager and that job might have more value or salary than a social media manager because Discord is directly effecting there community.
